Drop Safes make it efficient to make deposits quickly and frequently.  Access can be from the front, top, side, rear, or even dual access. The “Drop” can be a simple narrow slot with pilfer guard to resist fishing for contents to a larger opening for a full money bag in a rotary hopper. 

Security and locking options include electronic digital combination, safe dial combination, padlock, dual-key, high security key lock, cam lock, fingerprint, iButton and card access. The versatility to integrate into any internal lock, security or surveillance system makes drop safes a welcome addition to overall security.

The standard construction is often of lighter gauge cold rolled steel (1/16” to 1/8” thick to heavier steel ¼” depending on security required. Often the consideration of this aspect depends on the location and length of time contents will be stored.

Sizes from 6” x 6” x 6” to 20” x 30” x 20” and everything in between represents a “standard” range of sizes, however Drop Safes are most often manufactured to accommodate custom sizes. The amount of storage and size of the Drop Safe is totally dependent on the end-user requirements.
